On The Table CLT
Community-Based Campaign | In November 2016, the Knight Foundation selected ten cities to replicate the award-winning On the Table model The Chicago Community Trust developed.
Originally initiated in 2017, by 2020, Facilitate Movement had facilitated On The Table CLT conversations with over 20,000 participants in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg area.

The Pauli Murray Center for History and Social Justice
Think-Tank Design | The Pauli Murray Center is a nationally significant historic site anchored by Pauli Murray’s childhood home connecting history to contemporary human rights issues. The Pauli Murray Center will activate visitors of all ages to stand up for peace, equity, and justice.
Facilitate Movement designed and developed the Pauli Murray Center Think Tank, full-day facilitation over two years to guide the strategic vision of the Pauli Murray Center for History and Social Justice.

Africa to Carolina
Listening Session Design | The North Carolina African American Heritage Commission (NCAAHC) launched the first-ever “Africa to Carolina” initiative which serves to recognize and consider sites in North Carolina where enslaved Africans disembarked directly from Africa.
Participants ranged from local historians, family archivists, business owners, historic site managers, and griots all interested in the lives, deaths, and legacies of enslaved Africans and their family connections. Every community valued this opportunity to create a sustained and provocative connection to the legacy of enslaved Africans and the contemporary experience of their descendants now.

Truth and Transformation
Organizational Advocacy Workgroup | Designed by the National Center for Civil and Human Rights, the Truth and Transformation initiative focused on investigating the history of racial violence in the Atlanta region.
Facilitate Movement designed a week-long inclusive design process to build a collective vision of the power of history to inform justice for a small collaborative group committed to addressing long-standing disparities in Atlanta.
